Here’s one of my favorite smoothies right now - and why each ingredient offers nutritional density!


Ingredients

  • Frozen Banana

  • Oat Milk

  • Collagen Powder

  • Psyllium Husk

  • Instant Coffee

  • Peanut Butter

  • Cinnamon


what you’re getting:

  • frozen banana: best way to get a creamy smoothie texture and tastes so good

  • oat milk: i love the consistency, whole milk is also delicious in this recipe

  • collagen powder: protein for fullness, muscle repair, and very important for postpartum mammas

  • psyllium husk: this is fiber - for satiety, blood sugar regulation, and waste excretion (mkay??)

  • instant coffee: because YUM - can sub espresso powder or leftover coffee

  • peanut butter: healthy fats, satiety, hormone support, blood sugar balance

  • cinnamon: flavor, blood sugar (did you know cinnamon has been shown to improve your insulin response?? pretty cool!)
